Our methodology

Once we receive your documents, we begin a thorough analysis to evaluate your terminology and build a glossary appropriate to your specific project.

Since the same word can have different meanings -- or a client may have special terminology preferences -- we maintain close contact with our clients to define the guidelines for the translation and understand your particular needs.

Tools for quality assurance

At the same time, we use some of the most advanced technological tools available to guarantee excellence.

The Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) software that we use does not perform "automatic translations," which frequently alter the meaning of text and do not provide high quailty translations.

Instead, our CAT software works as a "translation memory" that remembers how a particular sentence is translated and helps to maintain consistency.

As a result, we never have to translate the same phrase twice.

If a sentence appears multiple times in a document, the software remembers how it was translated previosly and suggests a translation.

Nevertheless, the translator always has the option of approving the translation or choosing a more appropriate phrase, depending on the context.

These tools help us to maintain optimum consistency in your translation so that your document is an expression of the professionalism of your company. By reducing the amount of repetition in translations, these tools also allow us to offer highly competitive rates.

Supervision by expert editors

Our expert editors monitor your project during the translation process and, once it is completed, perform detailed copy editing and comparison to ensure that your document is true to the original.

The editors check multiple aspects of the translation, including:

Flexibility in file formats

We constantly train with new technologies that allow us to translate in virtually all file formats because we see part of our job as streamlining procedures as much as possible so that our clients spend less of their valuable time reformatting documents.

We can work on documents created in graphic design programs and spreadsheets, as well as presentations, web pages and many other formats.
