At Mexidiom, we consider that an essential part of our job is to make everything that surrounds the translation process easier for our clients: preparing the files, editing and reviewing them, -and also formatting them. We use technologies that make us more efficient without generating additional costs for our clients.
Our method. Each project has special needs; after a swift analysis, we define the number of translators that will participate in each project. Sometimes it may be necessary to prepare a basic glossary, formatting files that need to be converted, copy by hand any files that cannot be converted. If a DTP service is required, it is quoted separately. The selection of the translators is of utmost importance; we choose the translator in accordance with the needs of each project, and we will always use native speakers of the target language.
Optimization. We use technology tools that are available to guarantee the best results, including: Omnipage, InDesign, SmartCat, Wordfast, Trados, etc.
Review. The editor reviews and corrects the translating, checking terminology, syntaxis, spelling and grammar and making sure the translation is faithful to the original.
Total Format Flexibility. We work with Word, PPTX, Excel, PDF, JPG and Indesign files.
